Born and brought up in Kenya, Oily has a background in fine arts and studied design at both Falmouth Art School and Bristol UWE.

She has been in the painting and decorating business for over twenty years and has undertaken a wide variety of commissions and projects during this time.

Based in London, she has worked on sites and houses around the country and in Europe.

Oily is also a printmaker. She hosts private printmaking classes on request.
